Check for Scholarships by local organizations such as your church, parent’s employer, and clubs such as the YMCA, 4-H Club, Elks, Masons, and Kiwanis.

Talk to the admissions of financial aid offices at the schools you’re considering. Many offer academic scholarships for special talent, such as athletics or performing arts.

It’s best to use savings or financial aid to pay for college. However, it may not be possible. Remember, there is always a way to go to college. It may be that you have to borrow the money from a student loan lender.
