American Legion National High School Oratorical Contest – (Open to 9-12 grade students).  You may obtain rules from your local Legion Post or the website.

Academic All-State by Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence – required 30 Composite on the ACT test.

AMVETS National Scholarship Program – Eligibility requirements: 1) must be entering at the college freshmen level in the upcoming fall semester. 2) Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. 3) Must be the child or grandchild of a US Veteran. 4) Must be a US citizen. 5) Must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need. Burger King Scholarship – Their goal is to grant one scholarship for every BK® restaurant — that’s more than $7 million each year!

Coca-Cola Scholars Program – Awards 150 four-year $20,000 scholarships scholarships to seniors based upon academic achievement, their capacity to lead, and their hours of dedicated community service.  Apply online at website.

Discover Card Tribute Award – Must be an 11^th grader with a 2.75 GPA or higher for the 9^th – 10^th grade and demonstrate leadership, are actively contributing to their communities and have e4xperienced and overcome a significant obstacle in their lives.  Apply on website.

Elks Scholarship – There are two scholarship opportunities available for students.  The student does not have to be from an Elk family to apply for the Most Valuable Student Scholarship.  All students can apply.  The second scholarship is for a student whose family member is an Elk.  The family member could be father, mother, or grandparent. 

First Family Federal Crerdit Union – Student must be a member and/or have parent/guardian as a member to be eligible to apply.

Great Plains Association of College Admissions Counseling Scholarship – Assists Oklahoma students in obtaining their education goals. Family income may not exceed $50,000.

Hagan Scholarship – $40,000 over four years.  Requirments--1. resident of an eligible state 2. attended as a junior and senior an eligible high school 3. must be a student in the current high school graduating class 4. must heave achieved a 3.5 CGPA or higher 5. must score 23 or higher on the ACT 6. Must enroll in college the fall semester following high school 7.  Must work 240 hours in the 12 months prior to the start of the academic year of college. 8. Must complete the FAFSA in the current school year and EFC must be less than &7,500. 9. Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants. 10. Must not have been convicted of a felonly.

Wal-Mart Foundation – offers a scholarship open to any qualified senior and a scholarship for associates and their dependents
